"Great one-on-one teaching so you can advance at your own pace."
- Phil Cohen (Member & Competitior)
"Through their instruction Alex, Kelly & Gaille have shown our son Joshua
how to apply himself in the art of Taekwondo, this has increased his
confidence and helped with his concentration. On the fun side....the
children have a ball whilst learning invaluable skills around respect,
tolerance & fare play."
- Leslie & Rob Webb (Member & Parent)
I started doing Tae Kwon Do again after about ten years away and I have to say it’s been brilliant! The club is friendly, supportive and overall creates an environment to both learn a martial arts discipline whilst having fun. Great way to get fit, meet people and learn something new or rekindle an old passion. Alex, Kelly and Gaelle are helpful and supportive and wonderful at teaching the incredibly high quality of skills and experience they possess. Can’t speak highly enough of the club.
- Andrew Wilson (Member & Competitor)
"Awesome bunch of like-minded people! Proud to be part of the team.
- Alex Sootho (Head Instructor)
For me, musa tkd was not only a vessel for better fitness and discipline but it gave me a fundamental confidence in my own abilities. The time i spent with the club honestly gave me a sense of belonging and despite the formality of martial arts, provided a close-net community in which i will always hold close to my heart.
- Ben Hayward (Black Belt member)
Both the social and pysical aspects of tkd were a major part of my life. It helped me in many ways, not only with fitness but the major social aspect and overall inclusion i felt in the group was astounding. Being part of the club with many friends was a great experience. When you do tkd you make friends for life not only with other students but with your instructors. The competitions and other events i had the joy to partake in i will always remember. I cannot remember anything negative about my time there.. except for a few bruises but that comes with the sport
- Garrett Turner (Black Belt member)
I was looking for a dedicated Martial Artist, with a positive attitude to fitness, self growth, discipline, tradition and appreciation of this fine art. “In this day and age, it’s hard to find a school you can trust”. I’ve always had an interest in Taekwondo, but I didn’t feel I had the confidence or the ability to attempt this style of Martial Arts.
I have found that Musa Taekwondo’s team of instructors provide a very nurturing and supportive environment that has allowed me the space to learn from the ground up. I am incredibly impressed with the knowledge and devotion to their art that the Musa Team display."
Saboem Alex is dedicated to his students and his motivational teaching style is making my experience under his tutelage awe-inspiring. His teaching style combines great depth of experience, knowledge, and discipline in Taekwondo. I’m having fun, yet character-building time. His leadership through example instilled in me the five tenets of taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control, and Indomitable spirit.

WORDS FROM OUR MEMBERS...
Musa gave me the chance to participate as a team member as well as a leader. Alex as Saboum-nim is constantly competing which assures me his teachings are always up to date. He doesn't just talk the talk - he kicks ass on the mat.
- Cindy Tahija
(Assistant Instructor)
Musa is more than a taekwondo club. Its an environment that provides excellent mentoring and coaching but it is also a place for the individual to realise their potential. Individual goals and personal bests in asupportive team environment. Perfect for kids and adults alike.
- Monique Hughes (Member)
A martial arts club is only as good as people who run it and the extremely dedicated, highly skilled and friendly guys and gals who are in charge at Musa Taekwondo make the dojang a very special one. You'll be well looked after no matter who you are - a raising competition star or a guy who just wants to get bit fitter.
- Stepan Hilbert (Member & Assistant Instructor)
The Club is run very well. Everyone is encouraged to do their best and have fun. Alex will go out of his way to train and motivate all of his students. The teaching is of the highest international standard. it is a great club from a training, fitness and social perspective. Musa has created its own community and great sport culture. it would be great if there were more clubs over australia even half as good as musa.
-Nicola Calvert (Member & competitor)
Musa TKD my favorite club in Syd!
I´ve trained for many years, have had the chance to train in different places around the world and have never found a club like Musa, Where my opinion and suggestions as a sports player count and where I can actually talk to my coaches.
The most important thing for me its the respect for one other which they teach you at Musa, respect discipline and modesty are always the base of any martial and human behavior.
